Mary Frances Hoffman

Mary F. Hoffman, 88, of Circleville, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Berger Hospital. She was born November 21, 1921 in Circleville, the daughter of the late Russell and Sarah (Bowsher) Goodman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles William “Bill” Hoffman in 2008; brothers, Arthur and Larry Goodman; sisters, Pauline Gossett, Naomi Trego and Betty Hatzo; and daughter-in-law, Carol Hoffman. She is survived by her sons, Arthur R. Brewer, Chillicothe, Ralph F. Hoffman and William “Mike” Hoffman of Circleville; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert F. (Carolyn) Goodman of Melbourne, FL. several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville with Rev. Willie S. Haddox officiating. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
