

Mary Magdalene Kridler, 93, died at First Community Village in Columbus, Ohio, on May 4. First Community was her home for 14 years. Mary was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1927 to Henry and Magdalene (Cole) Warner and lived for most of her life in Fremont, Ohio. She attended Stephens College and graduated from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Education. She was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years, a member of the American Association of University Women and The Daughters of the American Revolution. Her husband, attorney William Kridler, with whom she spent 52 substantive years, died in 2003. Her home church was St. Paul's Episcopal in Fremont. Mary was a vibrant and inquisitive woman. She took great interest and pride in the accomplishments of her loving family. She is survived by sons, David (Anne Cornell) of Fresno, Ohio, and Douglas (Monica) of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Henry Warner of Racine, Wisconsin; niece, Bethany Warner of Traverse City, Michigan; cousin, Karen Cronin of Fremont; 6 grandchildren Adda Kridler and husband, Michael Caterisano of Riverdale, NY, Emily (Kridler) Bell and husband Jared Bell of Washington D.C., Susan Kridler of Charleston, SC, Fred Kridler and wife Hallie (Neidenthal) of Columbus, Lex Kridler of Boulder, CO, and Clara Kridler of Columbus, Ohio; 4 great-grandchildren, Vivian and Maeve Bell, and Aubrey and Isabelle Kridler. Schoedinger Northwest is handling arrangements. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
