Mary Margaret McKenzie

Mary M. McKenzie, age 97, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Brookdale at Pinnacle. Mary was born on February 26, 1918 in Columbus to the late Elmer and M. Blanch (Nelson) Grove. She worked for the Local Union #746 as the Office Manager at Westinghouse. Mary was a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church. Mary loved to oil paint, do crossword puzzles and animals. She enjoyed going to thrift stores to find a good bargain. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis E. McKenzie; daughters, Julie Kay and Joanne McKenzie; brothers, Charles, James, and Elmer Grove; sister, Elizabeth "Betty and her beloved Aunt Grace. Survived by her son, Stephen McKenzie and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 14, 2015 at Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel in St. Joseph Cemetery with Fr. Homer Blubaugh celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mary loved children and was drawn to them wherever she went.
