Mary Jo McMullen

Mary Jo McMullen, age 51, of Columbus, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a long courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, December 29, 2013. She was born to the late Patrick and Reta Ruddy on June 3, 1962. Mary Jo is survived by her children, Tiffany (Joe Gent) McMullen, Sierra McMullen, and Shane VanMeater; siblings, Debbie Griffin, Jim (Lisa) Ruddy, Patrick Ruddy, Margie (John) Stewart; grandchildren, Mariah, Maria, Madison, and Mya Gent and Trey McMullen; nieces and nephews, Josh & Jeff Griffin, Kevin & Ashley Ruddy, Jessica, Victoria and Amanda Ruddy, Kelsey (Brent) Walton, Shelby & Angie Stewart; great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. A special thanks to devoted friend, Roger Young, for his many years of support and care. An extended thank you to Deborah Jacobs, Kevin Kildow, and the caring staff on the 9th floor at Grant Hospital for their support. Friends may call from 5pm-8pm on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Father William H. DeVille officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
