

Mary Davitt Meshkoff, age 91, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 2, 1926 to Tom and Ellen Davitt in Syracuse, NY. Mary was one of five children: Jim Davitt, Tom Davitt, Ellen "Sissy" Koehane, and Joe Davitt. Mary was an incredibly generous and loving woman who touched the lives of many people. She was a mother to six children, including her four grandchildren whom she adopted and raised as her own. At age fifty she became a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric care working into her late seventies. Preceded in death by husband Peter Meshkoff. Mary is survived by her sons, James J Clancy Jr. and Devin Meshkoff; daughters, Mary Clancy, Danielle Piché (husband Michael), Dominique Rock (husband Paul) and Desiree Rossel; great grandchildren, Isabelle Rossel, Olivia Piché and Hudson Rock. Family, friends, and others who would like to celebrate Mary's life are invited to an open house at Brazenhead Irish Pub located at 56 North High Street Dublin, OH 43017 on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 1-4pm. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations may be directed to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption because adoption is very near and dear to our hearts.
