

Mary (Mickey) E. Perdue, age 79, Loving Wife and Soul Mate, Dear Mother, Momo, faithful and caring Friend has escaped the bounds of earth to be reunited with her family and friends who have made this trek before her. She was born 19 November 1941, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the Late Walter Zdunczyk and Anne Elizabeth (Postage) Shultz.
Mickey attended Shadyside High School in Shadyside, Ohio where she grew up in the surrounding area. She then attended The Ohio State University to become an elementary school teacher and taught in the Gahanna Jefferson School System at Chapelfield Elementary for 32 Years.
Mickey Passed at Mount Carmel East Cardiac Care Unit on 13 February 2021 after a brief stay but long-term complications with heart, lungs and kidneys.
She was a passionate OSU fan, always cheering on the football and basketball teams and did not miss many games during her lifetime. She will be remembered for her love of travel-specifically for her love of planning each trip and where her next excursion would take her. An avid garage-saler when Fridays and Saturdays rolled around. She had several cherished collections of owls, angels, porcelain shoes-the list goes on. She enjoyed bowling and the camaraderie of her teammates and her friends at the Gahanna Senior Center.
Mickey was an only child and was preceded in death by her mom and dad Stanley and Anne Shultz, close cousins Sandra, Mary Kay and William Corbet and many, many dear friends.
Left to cherish Mickey's memory are her beloved husband of 47 years, Marc Perdue, son David Pond, daughter Lisa (Bobby Kelley), grandson Robert Brock and granddaughter Victoria Anne Kelley, and great-grandchildren Teagan and Taryn. Her family wishes to thank the staff at DaVita Dialysis Center, for their care and support.
Mickey's family will welcome guests from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, 20 February 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Rd Road, Gahanna, 43230. All attendees will be required to wear masks, and attendance will be monitored in compliance with social distancing guidelines. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ceremony to follow will be private for family. She will be laid to rest at Mifflin Cemetery, located in Gahanna, Ohio, where she resided.
