

Mary is preceded in death by her two brothers Ernest, and Frank; stepbrother Phillip Roark; son James Edward Reed Jr (Ed), and grandson James Edward Reed III
She is survived by her husband, Charles Prince; sons, Clinton Reed (Alexis Hill), and Jefferey Reed, Andrew Prince; daughters, Lori-Ann (Todd) Wernicke, Tobbi (Shawn) Justice, Carrie (Corey) Acker, Kathy (Doug) Bishop; six granddaughters, six grandsons, two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. She is also survived by daughter in law, Brenda Reed. Mary has many relatives in Carter county KY, West Virginia, Tennessee and others.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mary and Charles were former members on local bowling leagues. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking in her southern style. Mary enjoyed sitting on her porch chatting and spending time with one of her best friends Renee, Renee has been there for mom to running her to appointments, provided her meals when she was not able to cook and loved mom as her own. Mother loved enjoying the beauty of the outdoors and watching the humming birds, feeding her squirrels in her yard. As a grandmother, she adored all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and every minute she spent with each one was precious to her. Mary will be missed by everyone she touched and was a Mother, Aunt, or friend to countless extended family members and friends. There has never been a more caring, loving person on this earth. Mother knew her lord and savior and is resting in her eternal home for now. God watch over Mary on her journey to the place you have saved for her in your arms.
Mary's family will receive friends on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 4-5pm with a funeral service following at 5pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus. Officiant Pastor John Cox. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
