Max Elmer Riecke

Max Elmer Riecke, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. Max was born in Windsor, MO on February 11, 1949. During his youth, Max was a Boy Scout and loved to play baseball. Max was a wonderful Christian and loved to sing, especially the song "Jesus Loves Me." Max is preceded in death by his father Max W. Riecke. Max will be deeply missed by his loving mother Gladys Riecke; sons Dana (Kaori) Riecke and Troy (Doralicia) Riecke; daughter Joy (Michael) Weinberg; grandchildren Samuel Riecke, Daniel Riecke, Jason Perry, Jesse Bauges, Edison Riecke, Nara Weinberg, Zephyr Weinberg, and Ember Weinberg; sister Joyce (John) Howe; brother Ray Alan Riecke; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christian Community Church, 5586 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, December 10, 2021, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221 with Pastor Ryan Pflum officiating.
