Jenifer, I just called H&R Block to make an appointment with your mom and they told me the awful news.   I am so very sorry for you.  I know how close you were to her. Tom, Kristy, Jenifer and TJ, I speak for the Summers family when I say we are so, so sorry to hear of Melodee's death. What sad news. Our families go way back to when Tom and I both worked at the Ad Agency for my dad, Bruce, and where my mother also worked. I remember Tom and Melodee's wedding, and the births of you children. Even though I eventually moved to North Carolina, Tom and I have stayed in touch over the years. I know he is heartbroken, as are all of you. I send prayers and wish you peace and healing as you deal with this difficult loss.

As a fellow employee at H&R Block, but at a different office, I just knew Melodee when we occasionally worked at the same office or took the same class. she always seemed very upbeat and friendly. So sad to hear of her passing. Lois Kamnitzer

I worked with Melodee in the Northridge office the last three tax seasons.  She was my go to person when I had questions or needed assistance as she was always up to date on tax law changes.  I’ll miss her dry wit and conversations.  The office will not be the same without her.    We’ll miss you Melodee!

Melodee was such a great person.  I di not know her well, met her one time, but her kindness and outgoing personality stayed with me.  My prayers for all of the family..  She will always be with you in your hearts.  You may feel a small breeze on you cheek at times, that's Melodee letting you know she is watching over you.
