Michael James Groves

Michael James Groves, age 46, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born in Columbus, OH on January 2, 1965, to Gary and Cheryl Groves. Michael attended New Albany High School class of ‘84. He loved Nascar, coin collecting, and watching his nephews play baseball. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a hardworking and caring individual, who always showed support to his loved ones. He will be dearly missed. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, James W. and Margaret Groves, Thomas and Helen Gerber, Helen and Robert Miller; nephew, Justin Groves. He is survived by parents, Gary and Cheryl (Gerber) Groves; brother, Mark A. Groves; sister, Deborah L. (Jamie) Cecil; nephews, Hunter, Mason, and Parker Cecil; aunts and uncles, Terry Groves, Anne (George) Evans, Tom Gerber, Sandra (Don) Smart, and Susan Miller; cousins, Jeff (Jody) Underwood, Jennifer (Dan) Clark, Rebecca Swisher, Lindsey Groves, Scott and Tammy Gerber. Friends may call 2-4pm Sunday July 10, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held 11am Monday, July 11, 2011.
