Happy Fathers Day dad, words cannot describe how much I miss you! I miss picking the phone up and calling you for advice about the new pool we just got, or you telling me about the latest news within the family. It's going to be hard to come home and you won't be there waiting in your chair, waiting to give me a hug and kiss. You were the best father to me and my brothers, you taught us how to be tough and to survive in this crazy world we live in. I can't wait until the day that I will see you again papi. Sent a gift in memory of Michael "Mickey" Hare

I finally got my acceptance letter into the nursing program, how ironic, right? I'm pretty sure you had something to do with that pappi! I will make you proud dad.....And yes I am the boss of you :) I <3 you forever and always!

I hope you will know how much you always have ment to all of us that ever knew you, and what a good father you were. I will miss you forever......Michael

Im a friend of your daughter Meaghan.   Although I didnt know you, I learned alot about how you touched each and everyones heart that you came in contact with.  You are very much loved and will be missed.  My family's thoughts and prayers are with loved ones during this time.

We will remember Mike as a good neighbor, tireless worker for the Homeowners Association, and a valued friend. Our kids and grandkids were always impressed with his generosity on Halloween.  We send our sympathy to his grieving loved ones.

We did not know Mike very well or see him often, but we knew him as a friendly, good neighbor and strong supporter of the Homeowners Association.  His frequent and long term projects around the lake greatly improved the neighborhood and enhanced the quality of life for us all.  His positive presence will be missed.  We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hare's passing.
I met Mr. Hare last fall as a nurse coming to his home. He was a cheerful man full of entertaining stories. As he told me a story of LMH being built, I realized he must know my father, Richard Rian. They did know each other and Mr. Hare asked me to invite my father to visit him. They had a very nice visit remembering good times they had shared together. 

My youngest son Drew goes to school with Greta. He asked me to pass a message on to Greta; he is so sorry her grandpa is gone.

Mike was a wonderful person and a great father!  I remember hanging out w/ Meaghan during school at her home and always felt welcome!  Sad to see such a wonderful person leave this world, but now he's in a better place looking down on us! My thoughts and prayers are with Meaghan and her family!

Mickey was my 1st cousin.. i wished we would of spent more time together!!  my sympathy's to all of his family.. i knowed he was loved greatly and will be missed the same.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the faimly at this time. I well remember all the time as kids in kirk. The times in high school, trying to play basketball in the barn.Because of Mike alot of friends came togeather once a year for a good time at his house. He well be missed by alot of people.

Mike, I am sorry to hear of your fathers passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I always smile whenever I remember the stories he told us when we were kids.

To all of "Big" Mike's family, it was a pleasure to work with him for so many years. We rode together to work all in the front seat of the truck, that was a feat all of its own, Then he bossed us around all day and then rode home the same way. Sorry he has passed. I have not seen Mike since we graduated in 1964,,,but my memory of our high scool days came to  surface and I fondly remember his kindness and great smile. No one ever knew I had a little crush on Mike. From what I have read in these  tributes to hm, he was respected and loved by many and my deepest sympathy to his many family and friends.

Many at Mid-Ohio Mechanical had the pleasure of working with Mike. He was one of the 1st
people hired after the company started in 1974. Mike was a good supervisor and more

Big Mike...  where to begin?  So many memories...  sledding down the driveway for hours, hayrides, tractor rides, bonfires, weinee roasts, playing in the barn, your big truck, getting in trouble....  :)  Your voice....  your laugh...  I always knew everything was going to be okay. You took care of everyone without a question, my parents included.  You have made such an incredible impact on every life you've touched here on earth, I can only imagine the work you will be doing now in Heaven.  I am fortunate to be able to say I know you.  Gonna miss you bunches!  Until we see each other again.....

I dated Mickey for quite awhile when we were in high school at Watkins;  He was always very kind, and was a real "gentleman" -- I'm glad I had the opportunity to reconnect with him a few years ago, and I appreciated being included, and always enjoyed the summer picnics he hosted in August.

My special thoughts and prayers are with Mickey's brother, Ron, his children and extended family.

Tom and I have known Mike for over 20 years. We will miss his cheerful smile, that mischievious twinkle in his eyes, and his great sense of humor.  He was always friendly to everyone and always had us laughing when we would talk.  There are some people in life that you will never forget - and Mike will never be forgotten.  Meaghan, June, Keri, Dawn and the rest of Mike's family, our hearts go out to you for your loss.  Mike will be greatly missed.

Mick, the news of your death brought a great sense of loss and flooded my mind with beautiful memories. As a child, the greatest thrill was to visit our cousins, Ronnie and Mickey, and go swimming in Wolf Creek. And when you moved to Kirkersville, we couldn't wait to visit. We were always welcome, and your mom was the best cook, and she never let us leave without a wonderful meal. We watched you play football and my dad always loved it when you came to visit us and he made us Indian leg wrestle just so he could see me flip you. As adults, I loved our conversations as we reminisced about the days past and shared stories of our children and grandchildren. Your love of family and friends is a precious thing woven through the years. You'll always have a special place in my heart and I miss you.

George and I pray that love, joy, and peace will gently heal the wounds of grief, pain, and separation and that we will all find comfort in the many special memories and the thoughts of the happy years that we shared.

Big Mike was one of the nicest guys i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. When i was little he would always want to hear about the catch of the day, the spots where the fish were biting and how sports were going. I would go over to just say hi and would spend hours over that talking and helping with stuff around the house if he needed it. I was always welcome there and to fish on his property. I will miss talking to and showing Mike everything that is going on. I will miss him very much.

Uncle Mickey, it is so easy for me to be sad that my cousins lost their father, my dad lost his brother and best friend, and that my brothers and I lost the best uncle in the world. But more than that I am so blessed that you were a part of my life for 33 years. You may be gone but you will always be in my mind and will always have a special place in my heart. I met Big Mike when we moved in to DWL about 13 years ago. He was so nice to us. All of my kids loved him. He was like family to them. Letting them fish and swim, always keeping tabs on how they were doing in sports.  He touched each and every one of them. They all loved him very much. To me he was a great friend and fellow volunteer to our Home Owners Association. He loved the lake and neighborhood. Always volunteering time and money to make our neighborhood better. Just won't be the same without you Mike. I promise to keep the lake looking good and continue to try to keep those geese off the dam...Love...  the Ghiloni's

Mickey you will certainly be missed by the entire family.  I could always count on you to make me laugh by getting the Gator/Buckeye war started.  What I will miss the most is your recantation of the garage roof incident at the house.  It is so hard to believe that happened when I was 4 years old and because you tell it everytime I would talk to you, it seems like it only happened yesterday.  I am so sorry I can't remember seeing my dad jump off the roof and split his pants trying to get me to check with mom on your lunch.  It sure is one of the many pleasant memories of my childhood.  Also, we so enjoyed coming and visiting with your mom and dad in Ohio.  We had so much fun as kids with not a care in the world.  You are with your mom and dad now and I am so thankful for your relief from the suffering.  Know you are loved and will be missed more than words.  Love, Mary Anne

You were like my big brother, Mick!  You helped me with my softball skills, you were kind and treated me like your little sister.  As time went by, I always appreciated you continuing to open your home and heart to me.  I always felt right at home at your house.  Next to my Dad, I have lost the other very significant male in my life.  I know you are experiencing love and peace where your spirit has gone.  I will miss you, and thank you for being a part of my life!

Going to his house and catching fish, frog, anything he would always come out and see me,then I would go in and we would watch football or hunting shows ,we would look at magazines. I will never forget you Mike   :)

Mickey was always bigger than life.   I knew him when we were young and raising his young children.   He loved his children more than life itself.   I share their grief and wish them only the best memories of him and his family. I wish for his brother those treasured memories to carry with him.   I wish for them all a peace beyond all understanding that only God can give them.  He was a great man with a great heart.

What a wonderful father-in-law Mike was. Over the past 17 years I have known Mike and I have grown to Love and Respect him so much. He has treated me with nothing but Dignity and Respect along with  being very supportive after I was injured and I am a very lucky man to have known you. I will never forgot the things that Mike has taught me over the years and he has past these same qualities to his three children, Mike, Matt, and  my wife Meaghan. And to that I send out my deepest symphathy to all of the grandchildren and the rest of the family. I consider it to be a proud honor to be apart of this loving family and to have been able to know Mike, You will strongly be missed Mike.

What a wonderful man Mickey was!  We will always remember the first Saturday in August.  Mickey's back yard would be filled with old friends from high school sharing stories and lots and lots of food.  Mickey always told us to mark the first Saturday on our calendar every year.  Well, it is marked on our calendar for this year and it will be a very sad day when it comes and we can't spend it with our old friend.  Our deepest sympathy to his children, grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Debbie.  Mickey was a big man with a big, big heart.  He will be sorely missed.

Meaghan, our love and prayers go out to your family tonight.  I am glad we were blessed with being able to meet your dad.  He was so funny.  He was a very proud dad and grandpa; that you could tell.  Our memory of him was the night we all decided to have dinner together.  Dinner with chicken wings would take a whole new life of its own!  Telling stories on one another, watching the kids play and laughing until we cried were just some of the nights hilarity.  There will never be another like him.  I can just hear the stories between your dad, Rodney's dad and my dad!  Oh my goodness!  What memories.

My prays are with you and and your family , he was wondful person and very caring man, but the man up stairs needed another angel for some work  to get done , and he was the one chosen to get it done , i am very sorry for your lost , and john will miss him also , because he would call john to come over to paint his home every summer and they would sat and crack a couple of jokes.

Dad,
I am still trying to grasp the reality that you're gone. My heart is completely broke and I don't know if it will ever be the same again. I am so thankful that I was able to be with you during the final week of your life. I still can remember you teaching me to dance listening to Anne Murray, could I have this dance for the rest of my life. You will always be my hero dad, and I will miss our daily conversations. Thank you for trusting me to make the right decisions for you. I can't wait until the day comes and you will be there for me to come home. Give grandma a kiss for me and tell her I miss her so much. I will always be your little girl.
