Michael Douglas Lutz

Michael D. "Mike" Lutz, 72, of Columbus passed away on March 3, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus to Ethel Mae "Reddy" Curnutte and Herbert Lutz. A proud Navy veteran Mike was a family man and a friend to many. He loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends. He was known for his many pranks he would pull them on everyone. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Ruescher and brother in law William Ruescher. Lovingly survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn; children, Victoria Lyn (Timothy) Taylor, Phillip Taylor Lutz, Samuel H. (Karen) Lutz; daughter in law, Teresa Lutz; grandchildren, Benjamin, Katherine, Thomas, Jacob, Joshua, Elizabeth, Emily, Isabella, Anthony, Alexander, Nicholas, Sydney and Samantha. The family will have a celebration of Mike's life on Saturday April 7, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. at the American Legion Post 144, 3253 S. High St. Columbus 43207. A private inurnment took place at Kingwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make a charitable contribution in Mike's name to Kobacker House at 800 McConnell Drive Columbus, Oh 43214.
