Michael Dean Stone

On October 8, 1971, Michael was born in Toledo, Ohio to Linda Layman and the late Lawrence Stone. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; grandparents, Margaret Stone and Martin Dean Stone; grandfather, Robert Layman and uncle, Bob Stone.

He is survived by mother, Linda Layman; grandmother, Patricia Layman; sister, Trisha Preston (Neil); 3 nieces, Samantha Sloop, Danielle Sloop and Jessica Emahiser; great nephew to Kaden and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael graduated from Napoleon High School (Class of ’91) in Napoleon, Ohio and Bowling Green State University (Class of ’95) with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Upon graduating college, he started a 20-year career in the financial industry earning his first job with Banc One that JP Morgan/Chase later acquired. He enjoyed a long, proud and successful career until his death.

Michael will long be remembered for his huge smile and caring personality and his love for his family and friends. He enjoyed playing football and golf and loved the Buckeyes. He returned a week ago from a wonderful 13 day trip with his Grandmother Pat Layman, a cruise of Alaska and a tour of the Canadian Rockies via rail. Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM with a 1:00 service followed by a Celebration of Life on Friday August 28, 2015 at the Upper Arlington
