Mildred Pauline Gibson, age 84, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Church Hill, Tennessee. She was born November 2, 1931 in Hawkins County, Tennessee to the late Hugh and Mary (Trent) Lawson. Her family was very important to her. She was a great mother who enjoyed old fashion cooking and housekeeping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Gibson; daughter, Patsy Grucza; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. Mildred is survived by her children, Jerry (Patsy) Gibson, Don (Janie) Gibson; Roger (Zelda) Gibson, Joel (Lena) Gibson, Wanda (James) Coleman, and Debbie (Randy) Block; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Bertha Lawson and Lucille Lawson. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
