Mildred K. McCabe

Mildred K. McCabe, age 100, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at Wesley Glen Retirement Community. She was born December 5, 1915 to William and Leona (Calvert) Stout in Pickaway County, Ohio. Millie graduated from Ashville High School. After high school she met her husband, John William McCabe in 1934, where they worked together. She had a strong faith and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Along with her husband, Millie is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Christine Ann McCabe and brothers, Paul and Stanley Stout. Surviving are sons, John William "Bill" (Frances), J. Daniel "Dan" (Mary Lou), P. Richard "Dic" (Sarah); 11 grandchildren, Candy Daniel, Angela Matney, Joseph (Vicki) McCabe, Molly (Steve) Boysel, Matt (A.J.) McCabe, Josh McCabe, Jeannie (Gregg Montgomery) McCabe, Michael (Elaine) McCabe, Colleen (David) Brown, Elaine (Steve) Statti and James (Laura) McCabe; numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Family will receive friends Friday, March 11, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016. Private family interment at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare, 124 Dorchester Square, #200, Westerville, Ohio 43081.
