The last memory I have of Miriam is in 7th grade science class. Miriam was talking about Hazel and I remember how her eyes just showed so much love. She was always so kind and generous.

Matt, Gina, Miller, and Hazel - we are so very saddened to hear about Miriam. I remember Miriam at Miller's basketball games watching over her little sis so patiently and lovingly - she always struck me as loving every minute of chasing Hazel around the court! Your family is in our hearts and many prayers. May God impart your family with each and every one of these blessed prayers prayed over your sweet family...

When we were all younger, I knew Miriam would go on to do great things. She was way more mature than me and Sarah and she was so kind. It’s awful that she didn’t get the chance to show the world how brightly she shined. I send my love to you all.

The Clarke Family was so saddened to hear about Miriam’s passing. We remember Miriam as a baby and toddler, always having a mature poise about her, and a beautiful smile on her face...the same smile Gina carried on her face all through her pregnancy with Miriam. I can remember clearly all of the kisses and hugs she had for her newborn brother after Miller was born and how much she always loved to help her Mom with any task she was doing. You could see in her interactions with other people that Miriam, even at that young age, was a gentle and loving soul. Miriam’s beauty, joy and faith was so clear from birth and will always be in the memories that we will hold of her. Our family is praying  for you, Gina, Matt, Miller, and Hazel, that God’s love and the love that you have for each other guides you through this time. You have been in our prayers and hearts since we heard about Miriam this week. Most of what we loved of Miriam for the year we were blessed to know her at The O'Roarke Academy for the Gifted was through the stories Mick would share after school each day and just enjoying watching them all play after school at pick up. She always had Hazel on her hip loving her and proudly showing her to all of the kids. Everyone was drawn to Miriam's gentle, loving, giving spirit. Mick liked Miriam and Miller a lot and he was sad when they went back to WC. The news of Miriam's passing shocked and saddened us deeply. My sweet memory of Miriam is seeing her and her sister Hazel in matching bathing suits at the pool. Miriam would watch over Hazel while her mom, Gina, and I and other mom friends would talk. It wasn’t a chore for Miriam to watch Hazel, they both loved to be together. Matt, Gina, Miller and Hazel - my heart aches for you and you are continually in my prayers :heart:

Our family only knows of your family through mutual friends, but we have had heavy hearts. We have prayed for all of you. What words can I say. I’m speechless. My heart breaks for you, but my heart also rejoices that this life is not all we have - it is but a brief stop on our way to glory with God. Enchanted Cottage was purchased for the family of Miriam Cail White.

Miriam was and is one of the sweetest students I have taught.  She loved the Lord and she loved others.  Those two things always radiated from her.  She had a strong faith and convictions, even in 3rd grade.  But man did she have a fun little sense of humor, and just the best smile.  She was always quick to make another smile, or brighten a day. I remember Miriam as a peacemaker.  That sweet little group of girls was always laughing...and more often than not, they had me their teacher laughing!  And she really loved her family. I heard so much about them and her love for them that year. I vividly remember many times watching her get so excited to see her family-skipping down the hall because of a parent pick up, or because an uncle, or her grandparents were coming to visit.  Gina, Matt, Miller and Hazel- our hearts are broken with you and we are praying for you.  It was truly such a blessing and a gift to teach your sweet girl.

I will miss Miriam a lot. She always had "quiet fire". She knew what she believed and her strong convictions were an example to me, even as her Bible teacher. She never said much in class, but she would always do an amazing job sharing her thoughts on paper. She was steady, consistent, and a breath of fresh air in my classroom. I loved watching her play soccer. She could fly on the soccer field. Her passion for life always showed up on the field. She always lead by example in our school and she was never influenced by the petty drama of middle school life. I'm very sad I can't be there for Miriam's memorial service. We will always honor Miriam and watch out for her friends. We have a 1 year old daughter and we pray that she will be like Miriam some day. Strong, godly, and someone who loves others so well. I'm humbled to have called Miriam my friend. We are praying for your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do in the future to help:)

Matt, Gina, Miller, and Hazel you are in my prayers. While teaching Miller in Kindergarten, I was privileged to enjoy many conversations with such a fabulous family. I loved that Jesus flowed from your family. Those strong foundations were seen again when Miriam came with the WCMS student council to share chapel time with our K students. My sweet memory of Miriam the day I met her, was her comforting her then baby sister at a large gathering of people. At only 12, she had such a calm and nurturing touch. Hazel was more then content to soak up the love and affection of her big sister. It was clear to me immediately that Miriam was so much like her sweet and graceful mother. 

Gina and Matt- my parent's heart is hurting for you both, Miller, and Hazel.  The only sanity is to know and believe in a life beyond this world with our Lord. All the scales are righted and the sufferings are made good. We trust God and His promise that while Miriam's life on earth is done, her life beyond has just begun. With a painful release those here on Earth who love her must lose her and let her go into God's arms, then by faith receive in return the boundless comfort of God's presence. I can imagine it seems like you have lost everything, God is enough. In Jesus, I will continue to pray for your family during this tragic time.
