Mollie Faye Stanley

Mollie Faye Stanley, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was born in Jenkins, Kentucky on September 21, 1935 to the late Sol and Dovie (Belcher) Elkins. Mollie married Donald Stanley on May 29, 1955. She retired from Western Electric/Lucent Technologies after many years of dedicated service. Mollie was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was also member of the Southeast Conservation Club, the Crest Club, and the Pioneer Club. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, who passed away in 2011; children, Donnetta Pruitt and Daniel Stanley; and siblings, Eddie, Draxie, Dempsey, Ailene, Irene, Julia, Betty, and Harvey. Survivors include her children, Cathy Jones, Eddie (Elizabeth) Stanley, and Gregory (Frankie) Stanley; grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Grace, Samantha, Amber, Gregory, Kasey, Jackie, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Alexis, Mekhi, McKayla, Mariah, Shaun, Samuel, and Addison; sisters, Cora and Nora; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00AM. Pastor David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
