I just read this. I am so saddened by her passing. I wish I had known.
We had not talked in a long time, and I really missed her.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.  Molly and I were childhood friends and in Girl Scouts together for many years. A fond memory I recall was taking the new Monkees album over to Molly's and dancing and dancing.  What joy!  So many good memories.

Dear Kelly & John,

Like so many others, I grieve your mom's death and extend my heartfelt sympathy.

We were classmates and childhood friends. Although our paths to adulthood took us in different directions, I am grateful we were able to reconnect later in life. Of course we shared stories of our first born (daughters) and second born (sons).

My fondest memory of your mom was the summer of '67 (we were 14) while swimming in the family pool she declared that we should skinny dip. Although I needed convincing, we did! Of course your mom wouldn't remember this because this was only one of her devilish schemes. 

Your mom was a genuine soul with a smile that could outshine the sun. I can only hope your faith, family, friends and cherished memories will help heal your hearts during this time of profound sadness.

From, UA Bear Cub Softball Players and Families purchased the Vivid Recollections for the family of Molly Ohsner.

My husband and I were introduced to Molly by her husband Ron, in the spring of 1985.  We were both raising newborn sons, and Molly enthusiastically provided her support, along with “sharing“ Kelly as a helpful “big sister” extra set of hands on many occasions, Our families shared several fun holidays and OSU football gatherings over the years and enjoyed their traditional smoked turkey on Christmas for many years.  Molly’s signature beauty attribute was one of the most memorable smiles I have seen..... the kind that invites you to engage in the moment and giggle....Molly’s kind spirit and fun mischievous glint in her eyes were reflections of her innate hospitality and Warm friendship.  She introduced me to UA summer swim pools and encouraged my fledgling gardening skills to a passion for a lifetime. A start from her mother’s hillside “Myrtle” still rambles in my yard today and the periwinkle flower blooms bring me joy in the memory of a dear soul and friend we will miss.  More recently I visited her, when unfortunately she could not physically stand - but we held hands and simulated our “old moves” to Motown and enjoyed one last “work out”.  We are thankful Molly is at peace, re-connected to Ron.  We pray for her family at this difficult life transition, send sympathetic thoughts and hugs for John and Kelly and their families.  Please honor and acknowledge her vital spirit, as it is now free from disease and she has been granted her request to “go Home”.  Let me know when we can harvest you some of her “Myrtle” for your own homes ;)

Long ago, as children of Marty & Bill James, Molly & her older brothers Tommy & Peter grew up in an idyllic place with her grandparents, aunt & uncle Addie & Gibby, cousins, farm animals, + an in ground pool!  My parents were close friends, so my siblings & I were lucky to share the fun & frolic of that pool & the life around it!  Molly was such a bubbly, happy, adorable little girl, much younger than I, but it was delightful playing with her & her brothers, cousins, & friends!  When I think of Molly, I see that precious smile.  All the Enterline-Kurz Family embraces all of Molly’s loved ones at this difficult time—prayers of condolence & love :two_hearts:

Your dad was a childhood friend of my husbands. We met Molly when they started dating and she was still a student at Ohio State. There was wasn’t anything not to like about Molly! I have lots of wonderful memories of those fun carefree days. She was a special person and her light touched me and Timmy too. Sending love and peace to her family.

I am a former exercise student of Molly and benefited from her teaching and fabulous playlists.  Her warmth and playfulness allowed all of us in class to feel comfortable with our own abilities and with however much effort we were able to muster on any given day.  Molly's natural ease with people fostered many friendships, and after several years in class, we began calling ourselves "The Molly Girls".  So many great tunes easily recall the fun in class and group support.  If I'm in the grocery store (or any shop where music is playing) and Cold Play comes over the audio system with "If I Ruled the World", LOOK OUT, because I'm sliding (two, three, four) and waving (six, seven, eight)!

Before Molly's passing, a couple of us Molly Girls visited with her and let her know that I had begun to lead the exercise class.  Her comment (one of the funniest facial expressions of surprise, wonder, and DISBELIEF) was PRICELESS!  We all burst out laughing--which was the perfect response for the circumstance!

I try to do justice to Molly's instruction, but nobody can top her contribution to the fun and closeness she brought to us all.

Bless your heart, Molly dear one.  We miss you.  Know that some of us Molly Girls are STILL exercising to your tunes and your moves.  Your spirit thrives in each of us!
