Monette Grossman

Monette Grossman, age 88, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was a 1947 graduate of Grandview High School, attended OSU, participated in Vaudevillities in her younger years, lived in Upper Arlington for over 40 years and was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church. Monette loved to sing, dance and write short stories and poems. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Grossman, son, Michael Grossman, and cousins Robert McKnight and Don and Catherine Lavely. Monette is survived by her children, Kathy (Steve) Critser, Steven (Audrey) Grossman; grandchildren, Bryan, Lisa, Michelle, and Zachary Critser; Nolan and Alana Grossman; cousin Jackee McKnight; and special family friend, Bonita Williams. Family would like to thank Sunrise of Worthington and Heartland Hospice for the extraordinary care given to Monette while in their care. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery Association. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Monette's name to Northwest United Methodist Church, 5200 Riverside Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43220.
