Neva M. Gardner

Neva Merle Gardner passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th surrounded by family and love. Neva was known for her warmth and bubbly personality -- she made family out of friends and friends out of strangers.

Neva was born on January 12, 1924 in Casey, Illinois; she lived in Danville, Illinois, until 1972, where she ran a beauty shop and raised 3 children who preceded her in death, Randall Carden, Janet Carden, and Karan Wallis Styer.

In 1973 she married her husband, Harold Gardner, and they have taken care of each other with love and compassion ever since. Neva and Harold moved to Winter Haven, FL, from Grove City, Ohio, in 1986. Neva's light will be dearly missed by Harold, her siblings, her stepdaughter Penny (Tom) Halterman, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson Harold Edwin Gardner and grandson Robert N. Styer.

There will be a celebration of her life at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio, in the chapel on Friday, February 7th, 2020 at 2:30pm.
