Norma M Barrow

Norma Marie Barrow went Home to the Lord on Wednesday, August 15, the feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was 94 years old. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, John Earnest; parents Louis and Marian (Deluca) Gregory; sisters, Lillian Gregory, Irene Biancone, Emma Scherrer, Helen Mann; nephews, Paul and Gary Bullock, niece, Sherry Baker, great niece, Nicole Baker. Norma is survived by brothers Robert (Esther) Gregory and James Gregory; children, John J. Barrow and Marie E. Thompson; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson, Melanie (Phyl) Chen, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Drew, Madison and Conner Barrow; 7 great grandchildren, Aungeni Saxon, Bailey, Elise, Amelia, Brighton, Grace and Zochi Chen; many nieces, nephews and friends. Norma and John were the first couple to be married at St. James the Less Church. Norma was an ardent volunteer at St. James' school cafeteria, a member of the Marthas Group who cleaned the Church, the Funeral Ministry, Sacred Heart Society and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road Columbus, Ohio 43229. The service begins at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends may call thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to St. James the Less Church in her memory.
