Norma Robinson, 92, passed away peacefully at Kobacker house on October 3, 2015 after suffering a heart attack. She was an active resident at Worthington Christian Village and secretary of the Residents Council. Mom was our rock. Her strong faith was her foundation. She was smart, resilient, compassionate and wise. She was the ultimate Buckeye fan and referred to the football and basketball teams as her “boys”. When she was in the hospital she said "How long do you think I have?" Of course, we didn't know. She then said "Well, I would really like to try and hang around until Saturday because I want to see the Indiana/OSU game". We think she may have arrived in heaven sometime during the fourth quarter. At the very end of her life she was the consummate Buckeye fan saying “Go Bucks”. Norma’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and we are fortunate to have had her with us for so long. She was preceded in death by Bob her husband of nearly 70 years, and her sisters. She is survived by children Bob (Judy) Robinson, Nancy (Bruce) Fielding, Cheryl Driesen, Ron (Marcia) Robinson, Bonnie (Don) McPeek, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Worthington Christian Village 165 Highbluffs Blvd. Columbus Ohio 43235 on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. You are encouraged to wear your Buckeye gear. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Worthington Christian Village Endowment Fund in Norma’s memory to assist in the care of others.
