Papa always treated me like I was one of his own grandchildren.  I have so many wonderful memories spending time with him and Grammy.  My children were so blessed to have him as their great-grandfather.  He will surely be missed.  Love to you all.

Our family met Mr. Kirkendall through playing baseball with Rodney in the MDAA baseball league as we grew up.  I remember Norman as being "one of the good guys".  I can still remember him pitching to us underhanded at practice so fast we couldn't hit it!  He was always there to talk, help out, and advise us all on issues with the teams and later on in life.  He was a true friend.  I hope his family can find peace in knowing that he is now in a better place reunited with his loving wife.  He will be missed.

DLA & DISA family and building 308 Support staff purchased the Pretty Please for the family of Norman G. Kirkendall.

Mr Kirkendall helped me get my first job at BancOhio/Ohio National Bank in the Trust Department the week after I graduated from Groveport High School. No one in that department was more highly thought of than Norman.

I worked with Norm in the early 1980's at Huntington Trust. We had some good times at wotk and also playing basketball. He was truly one of the good guys. My condolences to the family.

Norm was one of God's True Gentlemen, I give thanks for the many messages that I had with him via Facebook. Norm has gone Home to be with his Lord and Barbara. My thoughts and prayers are with the Family.

I worked for Norman during the mid to late 1980s at the Huntington Trust, which I enjoyed very much. I have thought about him many times over the years and always considered him to be a hard-working admirable man. Sending much love and comfort to the family as I know he will be missed. Lit a candle in memory of Norman G. Kirkendall

I remember when Papa and I would just sit and talk when I was upset or just wanted to talk. Papa was the one I could tell everything to. I have so many memories I can’t just think of one. I praise the lord that I got to spend time with him. You know he was always a people person and that’s one out of the many things I loved and still love about him. I can see it now Grammy and Papa either sitting their recliners or they’re doing all the stuff they’ve wanted to do before Grammy passed. But now they have all the time in would to do whatever they ever wanted to do. I love you Papa! Rest easy. Thinking of you always!
