

Olive Burton Thomas Renner, age 95, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born January 24, 1921 in Columbus, OH to the late Harold E. and Florence O. (Burgoyne) Broome. She graduated from West High School in 1939, and later worked and retired after 27 years from the law firm of Butler, Cincione, Di Cuccio, and Dritz. She was a former member of Trinity Assembly of God and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Olive enjoyed quilting, traveling, playing cards with her family, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Rex J. Burton and Charles Thomas; son, Timothy Burton; and brothers, Harold, Robert, and Norris Broome. Olive is survived by her husband of 10 years, Jack Renner; children, Rex (Nancy) Burton, Ron (Jan) Burton, Jeff (Susan) Burton, and Karen (Randy) Barker-Mayes; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary Burton; the Renner family; and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:30am at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 766 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43206. Interment Union Cemetery.
