

P.T. Bapu, 72, of Columbus, formerly of Dayton and Cincinnati, passed away April 14, 2010. He was born December 31, 1937 in Kerala, India to the late Thomas Varghese and Kunjamma Thomas. Bapu is also preceded in death by his sister, Ammukutty Thomas. Bapu is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Thomas Bapu, Mary (Vikram) Bapu-Tamaskar and granddaughters, Maya and Arya. Bapu received his Doctorate of Physics from the University of Cincinnati. He was a professor at Mar Thoma College in Kerala, India and was a research scientist at the University of Dayton when he retired. Bapu loved photography, reading, studying the Bible and listening to South Indian classical music. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00PM Sunday, April 18. 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St.
