Patricia "Pat" Barkhurst

Patricia “Pat” Barkhurst, of Delaware, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was born to the late Howard and Bess Wright in Stockport, OH on October 8, 1931. Pat was a graduate of Grant School of Nursing, class of 1952. She was a proud Grant Alumni Association member. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother as well as an animal lover. She is survived by her 6th grade sweetheart and loving husband of 61 years, Jack Barkhurst; children, Jenny (Mike) Walls, Kent Barkhurst, Kelly Barkhurst, and Karl (Jacque) Barkhurst; grandchildren, Brent Walls, Amber Fosler, Matthew Barkhurst, Dustin Barkhurst, Kelli Reed, Mandy Kallay, Josh Barkhurst, and Ryan Barkhurst; 8 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. A special thank you is extended to Heartland Hospice, especially Jennifer and Heather for their loving care and support. Friends may call on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2pm – 5pm as well as on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 10am until 11am at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, where the funeral service will begin at 11am on Monday, July 29, 2013. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
