Patricia L. Berry

Patty loved to laugh. She would also be there to take care of others and put their needs ahead of hers. She enjoyed watching old television shows like Judge Judy and The Golden Girls. She will be remembered as a strong woman who was equally strong willed.

Patty is survived by her husband of 33 years, Thomas ‘Tom’ Berry; her daughter, Tina (Danny) Jones; step-children, Shanon (Jamie) Blackburn, and Damon (Heather) Berry; 4 grandchildren; and a niece Cheri (Tim) Davis. Also surviving are two sisters, Phyllis (Donald) Nobile and Pam (Ray) Riffle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Doc VanBibber; and a brother, Stanley ‘Sonny’ Ritter, Jr.

The family would like to recognize the caring staff at Mt. Carmel East for their excellent care and compassion.

Friends may call Friday, October 25, 2013 from 9 to 10:30 am at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 12:00 pm at Maplewood Cemetery.
