Patricia Dersoon Burgess

Patricia D. Burgess, age 70, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late John Dersoon, Sr. and Roberta (Stehling) Dersoon. Patricia graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. Retired from Western Stars Trucks and worked at Graham Ford. She was a member of the Mid-Ohio Ford Club, Earth Angel Foundation, Cat Welfare Association, and volunteer at Woodlands of Columbus. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking, and arts and crafts. She had a servant heart and would always help others in their time of need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Burgess. Patricia is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, John (Robin) Dersoon, Jr.; special nephew, Bryan (Jennifer) Dersoon as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tuesday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A graveside service will be held 10 am Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Obetz Cemetery, 4455 Groveport Rd.
