Patricia Crepeau

Patricia Crepeau former resident of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Born in Laurium, Michigan, daughter of Michael and Margaret Harrington, Patricia attended elementary schools in Laurium and graduated from the Calumet, Michigan High School. She completed studies at the Loyola University St Elizabeth School of Nursing in Chicago and began a lifelong career as a Registered Nurse. Her nursing skills were developed in hospitals In Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, Ann Arbor, Michigan and in Ithaca, New York before coming to Ohio. In Columbus, She was employed at various hospitals and nursing homes, including The Ohio State University Hospital, St. Luke Convalescent Center, Westminster Thurber Retirement Community, and, in recent years, she loved working at the Mohun Health Care Center at St. Mary of the Springs Dominican College. She was an active member of the Ohio State University Women's Club, especially the Afternoon Gourmet group, the OSU Medical Center Services Board, and the Ohio Child Conservation League. Preceded in death by her husband, George, parents, sisters Margaret, Katherine, and Helen, and brother, John, she is survived by her son Dan (Laura Conley), daughter Marianne, and three grandchildren-Elizabeth, Laura, and Sam; niece, Mary Jo Schave and several grand nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends 4-6 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the St. Thomas More Newman Center, 64 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat Crepeau may be made to the Association For the Developmentally Disabled, 1392 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
