Patricia Kessler

Patricia “Pat” Kessler, age 74, passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2011. She is preceded in death by her son, John Benjamin Kessler, husband, John “Jack” A. Kessler, brother, Bernard Paladino, and father Benjamin Paladino. Pat is survived by her devoted daughters, Lisa Kessler of Gahanna and Tracy Kessler and her son, Jackson of University View; loving mother, Donna (Jones) Paladino; brother, James Paladino; and many, nieces, nephews and family as well her long time friends. She received her B.A. from Penn State University in Theater Arts and her M.A. from The Ohio State University in Journalism. She was an accomplished actress, director and play writer. Pat was involved in the Columbus Community Theater, Players Theater, Curtain Players and Emerald City Players. While acting Pat also had a strong work ethic in her career, retiring from Otterbein College after over 20 years of service as their P.R. Director. Pat was very active in her condo association, where she was involved in their hospitality committee. She was a member of an Otterbein Book Club, Movie Club and Euchre Club. She made many lasting friendships throughout her life and was grateful for her longtime friends. Pat will be remembered for her outgoing personality and the love she had for her family, especially her grandson, Jackson. A Celebration of Pat’s life will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 11am-2pm, at 5473 Welbourne Place, New Albany, OH 43054.
