Patricia Lucille Robinson

Patricia Lucille Robinson, born on July 14, 1931, in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2025. She was surrounded by her three loving children Lynne Robinson (John Ryan), David Robinson (Robin Robinson), and Mark Robinson (Kelli Robinson). Pat grew up in Mapleton, Iowa and attended Morningside College where she earned a degree in education. She taught junior high and high school English and History, prior to her marriage to Ted Robinson in 1956. Ted and Pat were actively involved in numerous activities at The Ohio State University, where Ted was employed. They especially enjoyed athletic events including Big Ten banquets and Rose Bowls. Pat met her true calling as a mother and grandmother to Kelsey Robinson (Jake Edelstein), Jenna Robinson Julian (Nick Julian), and Ryan Robinson. Pat was also a devoted cat lover, and leaves behind her beloved cat Mickey, who she adopted after he came to her door crying and begging for food. She also loved to travel and was an active member of the UA senior center. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Alfred and Harriet McBurney, and her husband, Ted Robinson. She was deeply loved by her family and will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, and unconditional love.

Th family would like to thank her caregivers from Always Neighbors and Capital City Hospice for their compassionate care.
