Patty Lois King

Patty King, age 78, of Plain City, died at her home Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Born July 6, 1943, in Delaware. She graduated from Hilliard High School in 1961. She was a head cook for the Dublin City Schools for 22 years. Attended and served at Orange Friends church. Preceded in death by granddaughter Kathryn Hadden; sisters Virginia Henson, Joy Gillenwater; brothers Kenny Adkins, Jimmy Smith, Jack Smith, Gene Smith; parents Everett and Betty Adkins. Survived by husband of 58 years Norman; children David (Karen) King, Patrick (Cara) King, Diana (Patrick) Hadden, Jennifer Meredith, Jennaka (Caleb Dowell) King; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Jeannie Thivener, Beverly (Ron) Wilcox, Mary Meagle; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 9-11am at the Orange Friends Church, 3467 E Orange Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035, on Monday August 2, where a funeral service will be held at 11am. Interment Jerome Twp Cemetery. Schoedinger Dublin Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. Contributions may be made to the church in her memory.
