Patty Kay Melvin, age 63, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Villa Angela Care Center. She was born in Wilmington on February 9, 1952 to the late Elmer and Margaret (McQuitty) Melvin. Patty is survived by her sisters, L. Ann Shipley of Springfield, Kathy Nichols of Hillsboro, Lista Varner of Xenia and Gail (Eugene) Fischer of Xenia; uncle, James McQuitty; and several nieces and nephews. The family will have private services at a later date for Patty with interment at Union Cemetery in Highland County. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus.
