Paul W. Michael

Paul W. Michael Sr., 96, of Columbus, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at home. He was born July 30, 1917 in Hebbardsville, OH to the late James and Mabel (Wingo) Michael. Paul was a graduate of Albany High School and a retired railroad engineer. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a member of Avondale Methodist Church, McDowell Senior Citizens, NARRVE, Breakfast Club, Penn Central Honor Club and UTU. He was a great, loving father. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Virginia, daughter Deanna Jo and brother Wayne. Paul is survived by children Margaret (Lacey) Moore, Paul Jr.(Charlotte), Paula Haller, Donald (Candy), Rita Howell, Valerie McCarty, Rodney (Brenda), Virgil and Teresa (David) York, brother James E., 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Monday, April 7, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11 AM.
