Paul H. Norris

Paul H. Norris, 85, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Brown Memorial Home. He was born March 31, 1929 in Marcy, Ohio, the son of William W. and Grace L. (Ott) Norris. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann (Mavis) Norris; son, Rickey Norris; son-in-law, David Friend; brother, Carl Norris; and sister, Lucille Norris.

Paul was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and retired from Dupont after 30 plus years of service. He was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and was the “go-to guy” at Dupont for the ballgame scores. Paul also enjoyed bowling and his several pet cats. A kind and special man, Paul was a wonderful daddy who loved his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Charlesa (Jeffrey) Canter and Teresa Friend; granddaughters, Erin (Ryan Shreve) Canter and Courtney (Josh) Clay; great-grandsons, Collin and Quentin Clay; daughter-in-law, Billie Ann Norris; sister, Garnet Nelson; brothers, Joe (Marilyn) Norris, Robert (Judy) Norris and Dwight (Shirley) Norris.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
