Paul Summerall

Paul E. Summerall, Sr., age 77, of Columbus. Sunrise January 27, 1947- Sunset January 28, 2024. He was born in Summerland, MS, son of the late Aaron J. Summerall and Caroline (Campbell) Summerall, who survives. Paul was a heavy equipment operator with The City of Columbus for over 25 years. He will be sorely missed and is survived by his devoted wife Katherine “Kat” Summerall; children, Maryann Summerall, Ozella Summerall, Paul Summerall Jr., Angela (Christopher) Odom, Julius Summerall; 18 beloved grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also survived by his mother, Caroline Summerall; brothers and sisters, Joe Willie Summerall Sr., Nathaniel Summeral, Nehemiah Summerall, James (Autrice) Summerall, Mannix Summerall, Pauline Summerall and Carolyn Summerall; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Besides his father, Paul was preceded in death by his daughters, Pamela Summerall and April Summerall Long and brother, Aaron Summerall Jr. Paul loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Buckeyes and Bengals. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday, February 9, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 9, 2024. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
