Always full of energy and vitality, a force to be reckoned with is one of the memories I have of Paula, She was two years ahead of me in school, but she knew who I was, I have recently seen her with classmates at lunches and found her just as vibrant and still a force to be reckoned with, She is now in her eternal glory and back to her loving Tom, God bless the family, and I will keep you in my prayers,

To Courtney, Jason and Celina,

We will not be there at the service for Paula, as we have our own issues right now.  We were together when it meant the most, though.  When we all were learning about family, our own family, we were learning how to be moms and dads and how to have fun on a shoe string, and how to share as we bought houses, and moved and added children and dogs to the mix.  We learned about all of us.  

Paula, well she learned to love her children with a ferocity that is to be admired.  As you grew into bright young adults, and started having your own families, she loved those children with that same fierceness.  She held you all so close to her, she reveled in all that you accomplished, even your banged knees, and heart breaks.  As those grandchildren grew into the wonderful young children and adults that they are today, she loved you all.  Sometimes it was hard to get a word in, because she was so proud of all of you.

Doing it her way, was as much about family as anything.  You, her children, as well as your children.  She and Tom both loved all of your children's  activities.  They loved your huge family vacations.  Make no mistake, they spent their adult years on Doherty Road, doing exactly what they wanted.  They had their FAMILY.  

I am sorry that you will miss them, but you know they gave you an appreciation for hard work, and success.  They showed such a huge amount of love and respect for your families and your values, and your lives.  Celebrate them for all of the gifts they gave you, not the material ones, but the memories that you all made, the love you all shared, and the wit and sarcasm and love of music, the knowledge that you can make a difference,  and you had all better well try.  Do not forget that quirky smile your dad had, and that big smile your mom had.  They were special.

Kirk and Lori Henninge purchased the Beautiful Heart Bouquet for the family of Paula Marie Kulp.

Many many Christmas or Thanksgiving holidays and the smell of her delicious cooking in the air with Sinatra's Christmas albums playing in the background. The other would be the sounds of our parents getting loud and laughing playing their endless card games in the dining room as we played or watched movies in the other room.

I was only related to this amazing family for a short time but I have to say the Fadley/Schwartzwalder Family was by far the best.  I met this beautiful woman, Paula many years before our Oakhurst Country Club association.  I am beyond sad to hear the news of her passing.   I missed you long before you were gone...my beautiful friend and ex family member... Marty Schwartzwalder Nabakowski :heart:
