Penny Bloomfield

Penny D. Bloomfield, age 68 of Circleville, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born July 13, 1945 in McConnelsville, Ohio. Penny loved spending time with her family and helping others. Those who knew her would never find anyone with a bigger heart than hers.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents whom she was raised by, William A. Rhoda Thomas; son Jimmy E. Cantrell; sisters Linda and Sharon Quincel; special granddaughter Tymberli D. Neff; special Aunt Peggy Riley. She is survived by her children Alan (Annette) Martin of Circleville and Susan (Tony) Ramey of Kingston; grandchildren Jimmy A. Neff, Amanda and Alan Jr. Martin, Jenny, Jamie, and Timmy Jr. Neff; 8 great grandchildren; siblings Larry (Barb) Quincel of Georgia, Debbie (Jim) Hill of Whisler, Terry (George) Keaton of Circleville, Lorrie (Charles) Cassidy of Circleville, and Valerie Quincel of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the chapel of the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Keith Davis officiating.
