Philip H. Cousins, age 62, of Columbus, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Kobacker House. He was a graduate of East High School and attended Miami University, where he played football. He worked as a Laboratory Technician for ODOT, with thirty years of service. Phil was a Jazz enthusiast and enjoyed reading, particularly the works of James Michener. He is survived by his daughter, Africa Thomas; son, Aaron (Sonie) Cousins; grandchildren, Andrea Cousins, Ayanna and Ashley Thomas, and Erin Cousins; great granddaughter, Amaya Cousins; brother, Calvin (Karen) Cousins; niece, Lynette (Kevin) Berry; many other relatives and friends.
