Phil Myers, age 72 of Dublin, Ohio. Passed into our Lord's arms while surrounded by his loving family on September 23, 2017. Phil was born in Dayton, Ohio to Harold and Evelyn Myers, who both preceeded him in death.

Phil is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela; his son, Chris; Chris's wife, Sarah; and Phil's beautiful granddaughter, Evelyn.

He is also survived by his many loved siblings: David Myers, Gerry Myers, Lucinda Morris, Linda Martin, Matthew Myers, Toby Myers and all of their adored spouses. One sibling preceeded him in death, his beloved sister, Luann. Many nieces and nephews survive Phil, all of whom he was fond of.

He is further survived by his wife's family: Pamela's brother, Don Morgan Sr.; Pamela's sister, Jenny Chesnes; and Jenny's fiancee Rob Mock. Nieces and nephews who survive Phil include: Don Morgan Jr., his wife Michelle, their children Rachel and Daniel; David Morgan, his sons Alek and Clay; Josh Morgan, his wife LA, their son Austin; and Katie Chesnes.

Phil served honorably in the United States Navy as a corpsman, completing a sea tour aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, as well as a tour attached to Combined Action Platoon 3-2-4, III Marine Amphibious Force. Phil was a recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal for the medical services he rendered to the civilian population of Vietnam.

After returning home from his military service, Phil enrolled at the Ohio State University, where he met the two loves of his life: his wife Pamela, and Ohio State Football. Phil recieved his bachelor's degree in accounting, and then marticulated to the University of Dayton, where he recieved his MBA.

Phil started his career in accounting, which took him across the United States, before landing in information technology as a project manager. He retired from Ryder Logistics, after a long career there.

Phil spent his retirement enjoying cigars, doting on his many nieces and nephews, hassling his son about politics, and loving his granddaughter with reckless abandon.
