Philomena Idumajogu, age 50, passed on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Born in Nigeria on April 26, 1962. She worked as a civil servant and was involved in woman’s civic organizations in Nigeria. She was very active in the Catholic. Philomena was preceded in death by her husband, Remigius Idumajogu; father, Anthony Abah; brother, John Abah; and nephew, Pvt. Joseph Edoja. She is survived by her children, Martin and Joan Idumajogu; one grandson, Jason Akpokiniovo; siblings, Martin Abah, Rev. Fr. Joseph Abah, and Teresa Edoja; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
