

Phyllis P. Fletcher, 82, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. She was born January 23, 1932 in Union Furnace, Ohio, to Lester and Goldie (Tigner) Lytle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Fletcher in 2003; her parents; sisters, Helen Lytle and Ruth Unger; and brothers, Paul and Donald Lytle.
Phyllis is survived by her loving family: daughters, Susan (Bill) Sark and Lori (Jeff) Vandermark; step-children, Bill (Carol) Fletcher and Bob (Kathy) Fletcher; grandchildren, Arlena Smith and Allison Sark; great-grandson, Weston Smith; step-grandchildren, Jason Fletcher, Jodie Fletcher, Jeanne Kellstadt, Mandy Manering, Billie Welch, Tim Blumenschine and Diana Chase; several step-great-grandchildren; and step-great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Deena Rollins, Jane (Larry) Auker and Sandra (Leland) Goss; sister-in-law, Irene Lytle; and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church where she enjoyed helping with church dinners and baking breads, cookies and pumpkin rolls for the church booth at Pumpkin Show, as well as being in the Kitchen Band. She was also well known for her noodles and peanut butter fudge. Phyllis was always thinking of others and enjoyed going to yard sales where she would purchase clothing and other useful items to take to the veterans at the Chillicothe VA and others in need.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 15, 2014 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Myers and Rev. Tom Jividen officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
