Phyllis R Fox

Phyllis R. Chaney Fox, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. A resident at the Trillium Place in Dublin, Phyllis was born on August 22, 1925 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Hugh and Effie Hill Murphy.

A devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children Scott L. (Paula) Chaney and Rebecca (Steve) Evans; grandchildren Cashawna (Philip) Schlossnagle, Tate (Amy) Chaney, Brad (Lauren) Howe and Beth Howe; great-grandchildren Garrett, Grant, Landon, Abigail and Ethan; sister Lois Dudley; sister in law Rita Murphy; several nieces and nephews; her many friends at the Trillium Place and Willowbrook Christian Village; and all who cared for her at Heartland Manor Care.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin D. Chaney and Pete Fox.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Trillium Place, 3500 Trillium Crossing, Columbus, Ohio 43235. Private interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Fremont, Ohio at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Central Ohio Region, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 in her memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington Chapel.
