Phyllis Jean Laster, age 61, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011. She was born in Gary, Indiana on December 5, 1949 to the late Richard Lee and Garnet Marie (Foreman) Laster. She worked for OSU Medical Center for many years. She is survived by her siblings, Richard L. (Carol) Laster II, Charles E. (Charlotte) Laster, and Peggy (Mark) Huff; one niece; four nephews; and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 5:00PM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Tim Lee officiating. Private inurnment will follow at a later date at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
