Jimi was a graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Ohio where she met her sweetheart, Major John Marshall Jr (retd). John and Jimi were married on September 22, 1951. Following John’s enlistment in the Army, they were stationed in several states – Ohio, Texas, California, Michigan, New Jersey and, also in the countries of Japan and Germany.
