Ralph Donald "Don" Flint

Ralph Donald "Don" Flint, age 93, was swept up into glory on March 6, 2015 to be with his Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph Luther Flint and Maude Mae (Farley) Flint and his loving wife of 66 years Virgie (Tussey) Flint. It broke our hearts to watch our dad and grandfather fade away both mentally and physically. This dementia and alzheimer's take your dignity away, but the Lord made us a promise that he is restored. Praise Him. Don led a full life and served in the US Navy during WWII. He taught Sunday School and served as a deacon. He was an ordained minister and spoke in many churches. He is also a lifetime member of Gideons International and served as Scout Master for many years. He is a retiree of Battelle Memorial Institute. Don had 3 children, Constance "Connie" Fyffe of Grove City, OH, Arthur "Art" (Jan) Flint of Lenore City, TN, Rosemary (Rick) Dwyer, 7 grandchildren Christina, Jim, Derrick, Russell, Susan, Brent and Michelle. Jim lived with and gave most of his time helping to care for his grandpa, special friends, Ray and Ann Turner, Gene and Carolyn Watson, Bill and Susan Bartrum, and Leonard Sammons. Visitation will be held on Monday March 9, 2015 from 4-8pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at 11 am at Highland Baptist Church 3460 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church in Don's memory.
