Ralph W Hughes

A Funeral Service for Ralph W. Hughes of Utica will be held Monday August 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Fork Church of Christ. Interment will be in Rocky Fork Cemetery with Pastors Steve Rich and Cory Campbell officiating.

Mr. Hughes was born in Newark on December 12, 1921 to the late James B. and Bertha (Houdeshell) Hughes. He died Thursday July 29 at home, the result of a farming accident. He was 88

He served in the US Army during WWII, taking part in the Normandy invasion. He farmed all of his life and drove a stock truck for many years, and was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Bonnie (Keller) Hughes, son Roderick (Belinda) Hughes, and his grandchildren Derek, Tucker, and Julia Hughes, plus many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
