In his leisure, he enjoyed working on his cars and teaching his kids how to maintain them. Ray had a lot of fun singing in the Heart of Ohio barbershop chorus with his friends and playing piano in the house for his kids while they danced. He was a talented woodworker, handyman around the house and could be found on weekends working in his yard. He was an unwavering supporter of Buckeye football where he spent some time as a Redcoat. Most of all he was a dutiful father attending all the kids' sporting events, concerts and musicals. They will deeply miss his wisdom, insights and advice on any matter they faced.
