

Raymond was born in Baltic, Ohio on August 21, 1923 to the late Rudy and Opal (Lint) Stein. He passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on May 27, 2013 while surrounded by family.
Raymond proudly served his country in the United State Navy during WWII. He was a tool and die maker, retiring from Ludlow in 1987 with over 23 years of service. He was a member of the Licking Valley Church of Christ. He enjoyed working puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Patsy G. (Guilliams) Stein, whom he married on April 28, 1951; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Monte Smith of Granville; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Robin Stein of Hanover; grandchildren, Derek Stein, Cassi Stein, Jonah Smith and Tate Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ward Stein and Harold Stein; and sisters, Helen Sprankle and Mary Dovenbarger.
