Richard M "Dick" Griffis, age 85, from Punta Gorda, formally, Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on June 19, 2018; born on March 13, 1933 in Marion, Ohio. Graduate of Marion Harding High School. Dick served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He went on to work at General Motors in Mansfield for 30+ years and retired to Punta Gorda with his loving wife, Carol. Preceded in death by, his wife, Carol Obenour Griffis. Survived by his children, Laura Adams, Brian Griffis, Lisa Vitellas; and 7 grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel.
